"Scott and the guys were brilliant, really lovely to speak to, on time, and played an amazing celeidh. They were also in touch prior to the event to make sure we were all sorted for our song choices, first dance, last dance, etc.
Also, on the night I had a few worries that people weren't up dancing once the post celeidh tunes started, and Scott had good suggestions on how to get folk up with the music choice, volume, and changing the lighting. Couldn't recommend enough!

"Scott and the band were incredible, and we're so glad we booked them for our wedding. They were great at working out what the crowd needed (instruction-wise and mood-wise), and their calling was clear and inclusive. The band are really talented, and we enjoyed the music they played in between dance sets. They were also very friendly and flexible with things like timings. Their communication beforehand was helpful and professional.
The service from the Hireaband office was also excellent: clear, prompt and accommodating.

You don't want three random strangers turning up at your wedding or event, so here's a little bit more about us. We're nice by the way.
We're a ceilidh band with a reputation for knowing how to make your wedding a real party to remember. Granted your guests may be reduced to a sweaty mess but that's the risk you take when you hire a band this good.
We're a young, vibrant ceilidh band with a background in Celtic Connections. Our sound is traditional Scottish and Irish but with a modern twist and a few surprises thrown in too.
Don't worry if you don't have a clue how to dance to our tunes. All three of us are experienced "callers". We'll explain every step of each dance; before you know it you'll be wheeching round the dance floor like a true Scot. Each member of the band is a professional musician, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduates and of a world class standard. When it comes to ceilidh, you simply can't be in better hands.
Having a ceilidh band going full throttle and hell for leather is, in our humble opinion, the best way to create a fantastic party atmosphere, no matter what age your guests are. Don't worry, you'll also get the opportunity to catch your breath with some well timed slower tunes and waltzes; we don't like to leave anyone out of the fun.
